Tipworthy Tuesday: Now That’s a BANNER Idea!

Another one of the aspects of a display table that can really complete “the look” is a banner!

There are many different types of banners, whether it be a traditional bunting, paper-crafted, ribbon, or other. This Tipworthy Tuesday, we’re diving in to a hand-picked few.

For above Wine Display we did in the past, we crafted a fabric bunting banner… the EASY way! We’re all about no-sew options whenever possible, so we hot glued triangle cuts of fabric to twine.

It’s important to note that you don’t ALWAYS have to put the banner in back of the display. Be creative with the placement of your banner!

We incorporated our custom printable collection into the paper bunting banner used at our recent Pirates and Mermaids Party.

In that case, we hole punched the corners of the cardstock triangles and tied them one-by-one with twine, hanging it traditionally on the backdrop.

Ribbon banners are super easy and look great. We created a swag-style shredded ribbon banner for our French Lingerie Shower.

Cut (or rip for rustic themes) strips of fabric or ribbon and attach to a string to create this look.

On one of our favorite blogs, Celebrations at Home, fellow Party Stylist Chris shares a how-to for this looped ribbon swag she uses on a vintage beverage cart. So cute!

Definitely check out the tutorial here for the banner; you won’t believe how easy it is.

Happy crafting!
