Tipworthy Tuesday: Recipe, Buffalo Chicken Dip

This week’s Tipworthy Tuesday, we’re sharing a world famous recipe of mine!

Ok, maybe just famous amongst Karis and I’s circle of friends.

I’m not exactly sure where the recipe originated from, and I’ve seen several versions floating around the web.  But this one is tried and true; a HUGE hit each and every time I make it.  Spicy, creamy, cheesy, YUM!  A perfect party food.  I digress.

It’s super easy.  You just need 2 cans of chicken breast (I use 3 if I’m feeling extra chicken-y), 2 packages of cream cheese, 1 large bottle of ranch dressing, 1 bottle of Frank’s Red Hot sauce and some shredded cheese (I like a mix of sharp and mild cheddar).

Melt the cream cheese in a saucepan first. Then, add the ranch (yes, the whole bottle, no one said this was fat-free) and the hot sauce and blend it all together.

Mix in the chicken, and pour into a baking dish.

Cover it with cheese, and pop it into the oven on 350 until the cheese bubbles.

Spoon it in some cute cups (or martini glasses, they always add a little flair) pop in a tortilla chip or two and voila!  A handheld party snack.

Enjoy!
