Happy Tuesday! Today we want to show you how to make a backdrop board that you can re-use for many a party to come.
It’s really simple (promise!). Karis and I just crafted this to use for a recent candy bar display we styled- will share that soon!
You will need: plywood underlayment board (size = width of table), hot glue gun, poly fill, and whatever backdrop fabric & accessories you want.
Before you pop over to Home Depot to buy your plywood, you need to know the size of your display table. The one we were working with for this purpose is 4 ft, and so we in turn wanted the board to also be 4 ft wide… we also recommend 4 ft tall for the effect.
Hot glue your poly fill (you can get this at any craft store in a roll) to the edges of the board to cover.
Voila!
Then cover it with whatever fabric you’ve chosen, and hot glue to attach it.
Lean this board on your table and against the wall. Done! You’ll see the context in which this one was used soon.
Want to get REALLY re-usable friendly? Use Velcro attachments instead of hot glue!
Don’t forget to share photos of your backdrop board with us if you make one!
